Former KQRC Music Director/Afternoon Driver Paul "Neanderpaul" Marshall is officially back in the game, as it was announced tonight that he has been named Program Director at Sandusky's KDKB-FM in Phoenix, Arizona. At 93-3 KDKB, Marshall will replace PD/morning man Steve King, whose exit was announced by the station this afternoon. As part of the station's changes today, the PD and morning positions have been separated, so Marshall will now be in an off-air role for the first time in his career.

The 25-year veteran, who has five sets of Music Director stripes to his credit, will be a first-time Program Director when he officially joins KDKB next week. Neanderpaul joined KQRC in February of 2006, where he replaced Dave Fritz, but was released from the station last September. In recent months, he had been heard on a tryout at the revamped WRKZ/Columbus, and even at K-News in Palm Springs, CA, where he made a successful jump into talk radio for the first time.

Paul tells BroadcastKC, "I am sad that we have to leave KC, but at the same time, excited for the future. This was one of those places that will always stick out as special."
