Well, while I was off celebrating a birthday last Monday, I learned something rather interesting... Turns out my birthday is the same date that WHB was purchased by the Storz family's Mid-Continent Broadcasting in 1954 (same date, but drastically different year!). Suddenly this love of radio begins to make sense, eh? Either way, read on for the latest in Kansas City radio...

MARTY WALL NAMED MLS VOICE -- If you're a soccer fan, you may have noticed a familiar voice narrating MLS promos recently. That would be the voice of one Marty Wall, Kansas City based voice talent and former KYYS (x2)/KCSP personality. To see/hear one of Marty's early efforts, CLICK HERE, and for more information on Marty and to hear demos of his other work, check out www.MartyWall.com.

KECK ADDS E'COM MADISON DUTIES -- Former Entercom/Kansas City VP/GM Michael Keck has been named VP/Market Manager of the company's Madison, WI cluster, effective July 19th. Keck, who served in Kansas City from 2003 through 2007, will also retain the VP/Market Manager role in Milwaukee that he picked up on February 1st.

Thanks as always for reading! Have an excellent week!
