Less than a week after transitioning to mainstream CHR under the "All the Hits" banner, 95-7 the Vibe's longtime morning show "Shorty & the Boyz" has been let go.  You'll recall the team of Shorty and her husband/producer Mike Savage had hosted mornings at KCHZ since the station's launch as The Vibe in November 2005.  The news broke with a Tweet from Savage shortly after 12:15PM stating "Shorty & I were just fired."  By 1PM, the duo had been removed from the Cumulus outlet's website.

Long-time listeners to 95.7FM will remember that Shorty was also a key personality at the station during its CHR days as Z95.7 in the late 90s and early 2000s.  We'll keep you updated on what the future holds for both the pair and Vibe mornings as information becomes available.
